POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES This hybrid role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate finance at a leading publicly traded REIT. This individual will be a part of a high caliber team and will work closely with leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and will provide critical analytical support across finance, asset management, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders
Perform analyses of operating performance to identify trends in revenue, expenses and NOI to anticipate potential negative performance of individual properties or portfolio of properties
Develop and maintain financial models to provide visibility of operating performance and support decision-making
Assist in preparation of monthly & quarterly operating metrics
Prepare deliverables for quarterly earnings calls, including Q&A preparation and investor relations support
Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Accounting, Portfolio Management, and Investments to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision-making
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in models, reports, and analysis to support sound business decisions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
2+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, real estate finance, or a related field
Advanced in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and present findings
Experience with financial reporting and analyzing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows
Aptitude to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Experience in real estate investment trusts (REITs) or commercial real estate finance
Knowledge of financial reporting systems (e.g., MRI, Yardi, PowerBI)
Familiarity with real estate finance concepts, capital allocation, and development / redevelopment processes
